Hazelius Hedin is a comprehensive and colourful duo that uses dazzling brilliance, rare sincerity and an unrivalled drive to fill Swedish folk music with emotions and harmonies that are captivating and touching. When the duo, along with arranger and conductor Karl-Johan Ankarblom, meets Musica Vitae in medieval ballads, sailor songs, love songs and instrumental dance tunes, they each step over the other’s boundaries. It is mainly newly written music and exciting combinations that have helped the orchestra establish itself in the international arena, and such a new combination is guaranteed with Hazelius Hedin!
